Constance Ejuma is an award-winning actress and producer whose versatile career spans theatre, film, television, and commercials. Born in Cameroon and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Constance discovered her passion for acting as a teenager and pursued her craft at the University of Toronto, where she earned a degree in theatre. She later received a Master\u2019s Degree in Mass Communications from Leicester University in England, further honing her skills as a storyteller. <\/span><\/p>\n Constance is best known for her work on the feature film<\/span> Ben & Ara<\/em><\/a>, which she both starred in and produced. The film has been screened at festivals worldwide and earned her numerous Best Actress awards, including accolades from the Bronze Lens Film Festival, the American Movie Award, the San Diego Black Film Festival, and the Cannes Pan African Film Festival.<\/span> Ben & Ara<\/em><\/a> also won the prestigious<\/span> African Movie Academy Award (AMAA)<\/a>, often referred to as the \u201cAfrican Oscars.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Her television credits include appearances on FBI: Most Wanted, Seal Team, The Good Doctor<\/em>, and Scorpion<\/em>. Constance also appeared as a Dora Milaje in Marvel\u2019s Black Panther<\/em>, earning a SAG Award for being part of the <\/span>Best Stunt Ensemble<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n She has collaborated with celebrated filmmakers and artists, including Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka, Academy Award Nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Ngozi Onwurah, with whom she worked on the short film<\/span> Neighborhood Alert<\/em><\/a>, a project that achieved significant success on the international festival circuit. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Currently, Constance is promoting<\/span> Till Death<\/em><\/a> \u2013 a short film she produced \u2013 on the international festival circuit. She’s also developing a web series with<\/span> Yana Bille-Chung<\/a> and <\/span>Martina Lee<\/a>.
